Chicken Recipes: Crispy Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Chicken Wings
- 2 kg Carina North Quality Chicken Wings
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 1 tablespoon ginger, finely grated
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon lime juice
Crispy Sweet & Spicy Sriracha Chicken Wings: Method
Step 1: Place garlic, ginger, black pepper, salt and oil in a large sealable plastic bag.
Step 2: Add the chicken pieces to the bag, tossing it so that the marinade coats the meat. Place in the fridge for up to 2 hours.
Step 3: Preheat oven to 220 degrees C.
Step 4: Bake for about 20 minutes. Turn wings and continue baking for 20 minutes. Make sure that the wings are brown and crispy.
Step 4: Whisk honey, Sriracha sauce, hoisin sauce, white vinegar, and sesame oil together in a bowl until glaze is smooth. Drizzle glaze over wings.
Step 5: Drizzle a bit of lime juice over the top and also serve with lime wedges.
